Charlie is a compassionate and dedicated attorney with a strong foundation in taxation and financial matters. With a Masters of Law in Taxation (LLM) Cum Laude and JD from the University of San Diego School of Law, as well as a BA in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles, Charlie has the right mix of knowledge to help clients through tough financial situations.
During his academic tenure, Charlie was recognized as a National Hispanic Scholar. His commitment to legal education and community saw him serve as a Judicial Officer for the Council On Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) during law school, and he continues to be an active member today.
Having honed his skills under the National Director of Property Tax at Deloitte Tax, LLP, at the esteemed boutique tax law firm of Wood & Porter, and at a nationally recognized sports agency, Charlie has had extensive exposure to various industries and legal matters, including business formation, business litigation, real estate, and transactional issues.
Charlie is a proud member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the National Hispanic Bar Association, reflecting his strong community ties and dedication to representing a diverse clientele. He is licensed to practice law in California and Washington and is admitted to the United States District Court Central District of California and the California Central Bankruptcy Court.
Beyond the courtroom, Charlie is an avid animal lover with a soft spot for dogs. His love for physical fitness manifests through a rigorous workout routine and a keen interest in mixed martial arts, both as a practitioner and a spectator. The thrill of competition also extends to his passion for Major League Baseball and automotive racing, especially Formula 1. At the heart of it all, Charlie cherishes the close-knit bond he shares with his family, which serves as his anchor and motivation to continually advocate for those facing adversity.
