Maite Serrano began gaining experience in the tax and accounting field while in college, joining Sorensen & Associates in 2021. She continues her professional growth as a member of the TSG Tax Management team, where she supports clients with tax preparation, organization of documentation, and daily client support needs.
Maite is currently a student at Loyola Marymount University, where she is studying Economics and Accounting. Her academic background strengthened her interest in taxation and compliance, and she enjoys applying what she learns in the classroom to real world client situations.
At TSG Tax Management, Maite focuses on continued growth while assisting with accurate and organized tax processes. She values the firm’s commitment to honesty, integrity and innovation closely aligning with her own, and enjoys being a part of a team that emphasizes ethical practices.
Outside of work and school, Maite leads an active lifestyle such as playing pickleball on weekends with her sister, hiking new trails, and swimming (despite not fully knowing how), and exploring the many destinations California has to offer whether it’s visiting snowy mountains, national parks, or relaxing at the beach.
